Ismaning, January 2, 2020 – New appearance for Group holding company: The sports media company Constantin Medien AG has changed its company name to Sport1 Medien AG. The amendment to the Articles of Association resolved at the Annual General Meeting on July 24, 2019 was entered today in the Commercial Register (Munich Local Court, HRB 148 760) and thus became effective. The change of name is also accompanied by a change in the Company's purpose, which was also resolved by the Annual General Meeting in July last year and which is now even more strongly aligned to the Company's activities in the digital sector. The Management Board of Sport1 Medien AG will continue to consist of Olaf Schroeder as CEO and Dr Matthias Kirschenhofer as Chief Officer Legal and Finance.
