Ismaning, November 19, 2021 – The majority shareholder of Sport1 Medien AG, Highlight Communications AG, has today submitted to Sport1 Medien AG a supplementary motion to the agenda of the Annual General Meeting on December 14, 2021. This supplementary motion proposes the election of three new Members for the Supervisory Board of Sport1 Medien AG: Bernhard Burgener, Alexander Studhalter and Peter von Bueren.
Olaf Schroeder, CEO of Sport1 Medien AG: “The Management Board of Sport1 Medien AG welcomes the aforementioned supplementary motion for the election of Bernhard Burgener, Alexander Studhalter and Peter von Bueren to the Company’s Supervisory Board as a further step towards the integration of Sport1 Medien AG into the Highlight Group. Especially together with the vote on the squeeze-out request of Highlight Communications AG by the Company’s Annual General Meeting on December 14, this is another significant step in this direction. The previous Supervisory Board Members Andreas Benz, Dr Gero von Pelchrzim and Markus Prazeller have resigned their mandates with effect from the end of December 20, 2021.
